My background as a candid Ottawa photographer is rooted in the deep technical rules of light, composition, and colour theory. I am a formally trained photographer, having spent 2010 to 2014 completing university studies in Studio Art specializing in photography, followed by studying Interactive Media Management in 2016 to expand my digital design skills. Because I deeply understand the physics of light and precise in-camera metering, I know exactly how to balance exposure for diverse skin complexions on location. Instead of relying on a generic automatic setting, I manually adjust my camera settings in real time to ensure the lighting is flattering, balanced, and beautifully captured.

Natasha Reddy is a candid Ottawa photographer and visual designer specializing in warm, film inspired brand photography, environmental portraits, and creative process documentation. Every session focuses on capturing small businesses, artists, and founders through natural movement, rich warm tones, and custom color science reminiscent of Kodak Gold and Portra film stocks.
Because your session is led by a formally trained artist with a degree in Studio Art and background in Interactive Media Management, every image is photographed through a visual design lens. Images are intentionally composed so they align with your website layout, logo lockups, social feeds, and product packaging needs.
Because these are outdoor sessions relying entirely on natural ambient light, weather happens! If the forecast calls for heavy rain or storms during our time slot, we will simply coordinate a backup date in July or August to ensure we get that beautiful, warm lighting we planned for.
No prior experience is needed. Sessions are structured around open conversation and natural movement rather than stiff, artificial poses. You will receive gentle, comfortable direction so your authentic personality and creative process come through naturally.
